About Boxer Motors
Boxer Motor Company Ltd was established in Maidenhead in 1982 by Peter O’Mahony – the garage name comes from his first beloved Boxer dog.
From humble beginnings working from a double garage, Peter slowly built the business up, taking on more technicians and relocating as and when demand required. Peter sold the business to Steve Roest in October 2023, but he remains on staff part time and is still very hands on!
Today, Boxer Motor Company is a well established and respected garage that offers a high level of service – many clients have been with us since the start. Based in Reform Road, just 5 minutes from Maidenhead Town Centre, Boxer employs a team of 10 including knowledgeable administration staff and highly qualified technicians.
Boxer Motor Company service, MOT and repair class 4 (cars) and class 7 (commercial and larger vehicles), including motorhomes and horseboxes. We manage fleet work for a variety of local builders and trade business, including vans such as Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, HiLux, Trafic, Vivaro etc.
Significant investment in equipment has been made in recent years including diagnostic testing equipment and a new MOT bay. While the garage enjoys growth and continued success, we remain grounded and understand: “Service for us starts the minute we answer the phone or when a customer walks through our door. We aim to get our customers back on the road as quickly and as cost effectively as possible. We believe this is why we continue to receive repeat business and recommendations”.
